In June 2019, Oracle announced that Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) are “content complete” and has discontinued the development of any new features, enhancements or Oracle EBS-specific content as they shift development to Oracle Cloud Applications.

Many organizations are starting to adopt various Oracle Cloud Applications modules, leaving deeply invested OBIA customers with minimal Oracle-provided options, to support a hybrid architecture of on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud Applications, and other applications.
